Technology Policy
Permitted Use:
Technology is strictly allowed only for the purpose of working on working papers. The use of Google, referencing any type of material, or accessing external sources is prohibited.
During moderated caucuses, technology is strictly forbidden. However, it is permitted during unmoderated caucuses solely for collaborating on drafting resolutions.
All notes should be handwritten and submitted to the chair or delegates present in the room. This measure ensures a more focused and controlled environment for discussion and drafting.
Document Accessibility:
Chairs and the Dias must have access to the document being worked on and should have editing capabilities to view contributions from delegates. This ensures transparency and allows assessment for potential issues such as plagiarism, AI-generated content, or inappropriate use of others' work.
Behavioral Issues:
If technology usage becomes problematic due to behavioral issues, the committee will revert to paper and pen draft resolutions per Chairs discretion.
